First, dump the contents of your barrel into a strainer or colander and wash your rocks thoroughly.	Second, wash your barrel carefully, including the rim.	Third, refill your barrel at least halfway full with rocks.  Add your refill grit.  Then add water to just under the rock level.
Fourth, if you don't have enough rock to fill the barrel half full, use a filler material, such as floating plastic pellets.	Fifth, reassemble your barrel.  This is a Thumler's Tumbler barrel.  Compare rock tumbler brands here.
